The Top 28 players for the 2011 Masters plus 4 qualifiers will be drawn from 4 pots into 4 groups of 8 players.
Each player will play the other 7 players in his league TWICE, this giving each player 14 league games over 14 weeks of the summer.
After week 14 the leagues will then be split and each player will be placed into Quarter Final draws for week 15 (FINALS) depending on where they finish in their respective league. So to that end every match you play over the 14 weeks is of high importance and even the legs difference might count towards the player playing in the top level quarter finals or not.
Every Monday a player will be involved in at least ONE game (Two if going or returning from holiday).
The FORMAT for each match on the night will be a race to 7 legs. The Home player will throw for the BULL first and then the winner of the bull will throw first in all odd numbered legs.
For Example if you win the bull you will throw first in legs 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 if required.
There cannot be a draw as the first player to 7 legs wins the match, however every leg won will count towards your league total and also Total Darts Promotions ranking points for next years event.
All games will be played on Monday nights from 8 p.m. upstairs in Coast Nightclub - All players should register at the venue before 7:45 p.m.
Each of the 4 leagues will have its own board on the night and 4 games will be played on it. A 5th board will be available for practice.
The "AWAY" player in the fourth match on the evening will mark the first match, thereafter the losing player will mark the next match on.
